Hi! I am Maisa Wardle-Dugan, a data analyst and statistics student at Brigham Young University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics and Analytics. I also hold an Associate of Science in Data Analytics from Ensign College. I am passionate about using data to help businesses make informed decisions and solve complex problems.
I began building my foundation in data analytics through my academic work, where I developed skills in SQL, Excel, Tableau, and database design. During this time, I focused on understanding how to analyze data effectively and translate it into meaningful insights that can support business needs.
As I progressed, I gained hands-on experience as a Data Science Research Assistant at Ensign College and as a Data Analyst Intern. These roles allowed me to apply data analysis in real-world settings, strengthen my ability to communicate insights, and collaborate on projects that required both technical and business understanding.
Becoming a parent has been a defining moment in my life, giving me a stronger sense of purpose and motivation in my career. Alongside my professional growth, I enjoy painting, which has helped me develop creativity and attention to detail that I apply to data visualization. Moving forward, I aim to continue developing my skills and contribute to organizations by helping them use data more effectively to drive growth and improve decision-making.
